About Nicole Trawick, M.S., CCC-SLP
Hello, and thank you for considering Little Ducks Speech and Language Therapy to assist with your child’s speech and language development!
I began my career as a speech therapist in 2014 after graduating with my M.S. (magna cum laude) in Speech Language Pathology from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. I have experience working at a pediatric speech therapy clinic, I served as the SLP at a middle school and an elementary school in Dallas, Texas from 2016 to 2021, and I have been a Little Ducks speech therapist working directly with families ever since!
I grew up in Richardson, Texas, and attended Kilgore College, where I danced and was selected as an officer for the World Famous Rangerettes. I completed my B.S. (magna cum laude) in Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of Texas in Austin.
I have speech therapy experience working with children of all ages, and with a variety of speech and language needs. I feel particular interest in phonemic awareness and pre-literacy skills, articulation (even that pesky “R” sound), emerging language with toddlers, and pragmatic language or social skills therapy. I am licensed through the State of Texas and California and maintain a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA).
Aside from my passion for speech therapy and helping families around Alameda, I love staying active. You can likely find me out strolling around the island with my family! We are currently enjoying exploring the greater Bay Area together as we just moved here in the spring of 2026.
