Hello, and thank you for considering Little Ducks Speech and Language Therapy to assist with your child’s speech and language development!

I began my career as a speech therapist in 2014 after graduating with my M.S. (magna cum laude) in Speech Language Pathology from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. I was a private speech therapist for two years, and served as a Speech-Language Pathologist for Highland Park Independent School District from 2016 to 2021. I have been a private speech therapist with Little Ducks ever since!

I grew up in Richardson, Texas, and attended Kilgore College, where I danced and was selected as an officer for the World Famous Rangerettes. I completed my B.S. (magna cum laude) in Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of Texas in Austin.

I have speech therapy experience working with children of all ages, and with a variety of speech and language needs. I feel particular interest in phonemic awareness and pre-literacy skills, articulation (even that pesky “R” sound), emerging language with toddlers, and pragmatic language or social skills therapy. I am licensed through the State of Texas and California and maintain a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA).

Aside from my passion for speech therapy and helping families in Alameda, I love staying active. You can find me out walking around Alameda if I’m not in a pilates class that afternoon. I also love traveling with my husband and 10 month old daughter. We also like to explore the Bay Area together as we just moved here in the summer of 2022.
